Local introduction and support for service providers entering Brazil’s offshore market.
Northmark works with international companies that offer operational and performance services to the offshore support fleet, and with the operators and vessel owners in Brazil who contract them.
What we do
Running a service remotely is usually possible. Reaching the first client in Brazil is a separate problem, and that is where we work.
Market introduction
Which operators and owners to approach, which function inside them, and how each one qualifies and contracts suppliers.
Pilot design
Scope, baseline and metrics that a client’s own team can take to its management, on the vessels and operating modes where the service makes a difference.
Support in Brazil
A point of contact in Rio during and after a pilot: meetings in person, in Portuguese, and follow-up between them.
Who we work with
International service providers
- Vessel performance and fuel management
- Voyage, scheduling and logistics optimisation
- Fleet data, monitoring and reporting
Operators and vessel owners in Brazil
- Oil companies chartering support vessels — PSV, AHTS, OSRV, dive and construction vessels
- Owners operating those vessels under charter or on the spot market
- Pilots measured against the fleet’s own baseline
Background
Northmark was founded by a naval architect with fifteen years in Brazilian offshore, on board FPSOs, in shipyards and in vessel and equipment procurement, mostly on the operator’s side.
The company is independent and does not represent any manufacturer or operator. Its work is to place a service in the vocabulary and the process the Brazilian client already uses.
